Lets tell you a little of our story. Over the last few years we have had a heart and passion to church plant, but have been waiting for God's direction. In August of last year, Mark had been praying and had made the decision to devote the year of 2009 to pursuit of God's call on our lives. And so it begun... we made a short list of cities and began to pray. Portland, Oregon came out on top.
The process has now begun on so many levels and we are so excited to see what God wants to do there through us. And if the call is not exciting enough, over the last few months we have watched as God has brought together a wonderful group of people to help us plant a new work in Portland city.
Portland is a wonderful city, full of life and diversity. Close to the mountains and the ocean, it is a beautiful place to begin a work. We are excited....
I'm so excited for you guys, but we are really going to miss you! I am planning our trip to visit you already. :)
