Well since I last wrote the silly season is upon us and we are busy with that. But in the midst of this Christmas time, so many wonderful things are happening. Since I last wrote the first of our team arrived here in Portland. I can't even begin to tell you how encouraging that is. Jake and Rachel Gora arrived here in Portland with their beautiful baby Isreal. We are overjoyed to have them here with us. Every step is incredibly encouraging.
Last Thursday we came together for the first time for our first prayer meeting as a church... there were 7 of us in total. It was a really good night, for team building but also for storming heaven. The privilege we have to pray for our new city & our team. Tonight was our second night of prayer.
Also this week we braved the rain & as a team with a cannister of Hot Chocolate & plates of Christmas cookies we gave a little treat to the homeless of Portland. It was so incredible to me to see how really young homeless there are. I was so moved.
The remainder of our team will be here around the end of January. The next to arrive will be Jeff and Liz Pershing. They are leaving Wausau, WI in the two weeks. Then Aimee Hamilton with be here by the 10th of January, I am flying down to Phoenix to drive back with her to here. Please pray for our trip and for good driving weather.
Finally, Merry Christmas to you all. I pray it will be a wonderfully blessed and prosperous Christmas. May the New Year bring you answered prayer and the desire of your heart. Thank you for your continued prayer support. We love you.
