This last weekend we had the privilege of visiting Oasis Life Church in Maricopa. Scott and Caryl Helsel are the Pastors there. Mark and I had the chance to share our heart in regard to Portland in two services. It was so much fun to be a part of the service and enjoy wonderful free worship. God's blessing be abundant for Oasis Life & the Maricopa area.
One thing that really struck me as Mark was sharing, he said that Portland is a really dark place... but God's light shines brightest in the darkness. I was so moved by that statement. I think that is incredible. More than anything we want the light of God to shine bright in Portland, to bring hope and healing.
The next couple of weeks are really busy for us. This weekend we will be home at Desert Springs and then speaking elsewhere the next two weeks. Its is a really exciting time and scary time too.
