Updating finally...

I have to get better at the blogging thing... I am so used to using Facebook. Blogging is a little harder for me. Enough said...

Mark's last trip to Portland was very successful, it answered a lot of questions for us. It gave us more idea of the area. Also places to live. It was exciting to hear all the reports.

The last few weeks have been in preparing our house. Its so bare. It looks funny, but I kinda like how simple it is & easy to keep clean. There is nothing much to even dust! We are having a garage sale this weekend to get rid of some stuff, lets see how that goes.

We have had our moments with Allison too... both good and bad. Just a couple of weeks ago, we were packing up some of her stuff upstairs. And she started to cry cause she didn't want to move to Portland. She said that she didn't want to leave her room... and her house. So her and me ended up sitting on the floor crying. So I am praying as I am sitting there God, what do I say. I wanted to make her laugh, so it wasn't so hard. So I thought, I will tell her that maybe, we can drive out entire house to Portland and Fina can stick her head out her bedroom window and her ears could flap in the wind. She was laughing so hard, it was cute! Two day later, she came upstairs with a box in her hand. I thought she was going to say it was for her puppies. But she said that she was going in to pack her books. God is so good.

The time frame we are looking at moving out to Portland is about the 3rd week of October, LORD willing. So far things are moving along pretty steadily for that date. And it is also a real blessing & confirmation to see people who are interested in getting involved once we move to Portland.
